I was treated for hyperthyroidsm a few years ago and stopped taking my metropolol, I have recently began researching dry skin and noticed hyperthyroidism mentioned which reminded me of the earlier treatment. I then began to look into this which I have found I have so many of the symptoms other patients have expierienced from severe night sweats and hot flashes, mood swings (I'm 43 I thought it might be early menopause since I am also experiencing menstral changes. I also have severe insomnia with little to no sleep for days, restless legs, anxiety,, severe diarhea, weight loss, fatigue not to mention they examined me for months during 2011 and 2012 thinking II was having a heart attack. How dangerous is this and what are the chances of recovery from this ? Should I seek immediate medical attention or can I schedule at my leisure?
