I had a feeling of poor erectionMy age is 37 and now I am taking longer to get an erection Is this normal I had a feeling of poor erection.My age is 37 and now I am taking longer to get an erection. Is this normal ? I consulted doctor ,who got me tested for urine,VDRL, blood group,haemoglobin, HIV test...but no test of hormones,and said that everything is normal except for haemoglobin which was 14 in reading.He said this haemoglobin reading is of sexual haemoglobin and it should have been 22.Eight gms deficit should be first made up.He recommends 18 Ivs .I feel he is after my money and is exploiting the situation ,instead of genuine treatment.Please enlighten me on this.

Welcome to Healthcare Magic
There is slight reduction in haemoglobin placing you in for mild anaemia. Not to worry. You can make it up by diet rich in iron like fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables. Eat 4-5 nuts or almonds as well as chicken, lean meat to help you. Have you checked your blood sugar. Diabetes can also cause weak erection. Any heart problem, lipids in blood. Even stressful conditions. Get 6-8 hours of sleep daily. Be stress free by doing Yoga, taking frequent breaks in work. The Urologist will be able to offer you treatment if needed for Erectile dysfunction.

Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
The normal haemoglobin of a male should be between 14-16 so at 14 you are just fine and to maintain you have to eat your regular healthy diet thats all.As for the poor or delayed erection it does not have any relation with your haemoglobin.Delayed or improper erection is more of a mental issue and is related to ever work;tiredness and fatigue;mental stress;office or family problems see if you have any of these and if yes please try to calm down with help of yoga and meditation.IT is not a physical disease and is just a temporary mental block so no need for treatment and just try to reduce your mental stress or solve your issues.No treatment/no injections only regular healthy diet ;exercise and yoga and meditation should help you.
Take care.
Thanks

Hi
Welcome to HCM
Read your prob, in our body only one type of Hb present , normal value of it is 13 to 15 . you have normal leval of Hb. so do not worry.there is no ncorelation between Hb n your diease. ok about your diease , this maY BE DUE TO some psychiatric prob or hormonal pron or due to depression or tension. so you should meet with psychiatrist n start proper treatment.
