How To Treat Menstrual Abnormality?

you know about depo? the birth control shot?
well ive been on it for over a year at this point and all is well except when i had sex the other day i bleed and it was only towards the end and it stopped after we stopped. Now again today i bleed not much but its once again dark brown-ish blood......what is this?? why is it doing this?

Hi,

I think that Depo shot can cause menstrual abnormality so there is nothing much to worry about this condition. I would suggest you have a course of Norethisterone tablets 5mg for 20 days and have a thyroid profile test and prolactin test done as these symptoms can be due to hormonal irregularities.
