I am five month pregnant, my himoglobin count is 8.9 due to which i am takin iron capsules and the fruits and veggies which contains iron. and a date fruit everyday. so, i am worried about my babies health and complexion too. can i take safforn milk at this time to improve the complexion.

Dont worry, baby is a parasite which will take up the necessary iron from the mother.. But you will have problem at the time of delivery.. Repeat Hb after 1 month, if it remains the same, get a Periferal smear to know the cause of anemia.. if iron is the cause, take iron sucrose injection.. Take a course of deworming.. You can take saffron milk, it doesnot harm the fetus..Hope I have answered your query.. good day..
