How To Treat A Recurring Viral Gastroenteritis?

My wife went to the emergency room on april, 21st and was treated for Viral Gastroenteritis. The symptoms went away for like 24 hours and have returned to the way they were. She is constantly vomiting and none of the prescribed medicine or liquids will stay down. Should I take her back to the ER again?
