Hallow Dear,

Your abortion started 6 hours after taking MTP kit. It is normal. Then the bleeding started after 10 days again. This is possible due to:

1. Incomplete abortion: You should get ultrasonography done to find out whether there are any products still left in the uterus. If so, they will have to be removed now surgically.

2. Infection: Even incomplete abortion can invite infection. It is associated with fever and foul smelling discharge. A course of antibiotics is necessary.

3. Development of Choriocarcinoma: Some times, the placenta developing tissue may undergo cancerous changes called as Choriocarcinoma. 10 days after abortion, pregnancy test becomes negative. If it still remains positive, it indicated the development of choriocarcinoma. It spreads very fast through blood and its bleeding is also serious. However, it can be completely cured by medicines like Methotrexate if diagnosed and treated in time. If pregnancy test is positive after more than 10 days of abortion, get quantitative Beta hCG test and ultrasonography done which will help you diagnose this condition.

Please report to your Gynaecologist ASAP to prevent further serious complications.

Hello dear
Understand your concern
Normally bleeding will stop 7 days after using abortion pills. It mostly due to incomplete abortion/retain bits of pregnancy, It is due to improper use and dose of abortion pill without observation of gynecologist. Now for confirmation USG scan should be done. It is treated by either medicine like misoprostol or surgical process like D & C.

Hope this may help you
Best regards
