How To Overcome Anxiety?

I'm taking a speech class in college that requires 8 minute speeches in front of the class. I have really bad speech anxiety. The worst symptom that causes me the most fear is feeling like my ears are suddenly plugged up while speaking. My ears will frequently go in and out of this plugged up state until i'm done giving the speech. I can deal with being nervous, but the hearing symptom of the anxiety makes me think i could be yelling or talking funny. In my head, it sounds like i'm talking under water or something. As a result, I have little to no eye contact with the audience, tons of filler words, nervous fidgeting, all adding up to a terrifying few minutes in front of the class. Is there a medication that I can take before my speeches to stop this from happening to me?

Dear
Welcome to HCM
We understand your concerns

I went through your details. I suggest you not to worry much. Please understand, either you have to believe you, or others. You could overcome your present "hearing symptom" easily. Ask people those who are sitting in front of you. Ask them, Am I clear? Is my voice clear? etc several time inside your speech. Change your tone if they say there is a problem. otherwise enjoy.

Psychotherapy techniques should suit your requirement. If you require more of my help in this aspect, Please post a direct question to me in this URL. http://goo.gl/aYW2pR. Make sure that you include every minute details possible. I shall prescribe the needed psychotherapy techniques.

Hope this answers your query. Available for further clarifications.
Good luck.
