How To Increase My Vision?

an optamologist told me that the reason the vision in my right eye was decreasing so rapidly was because when a person is bornn they have a membrane in their eye that is supposed to dissolve away but mine is still there. is there a medical term for this/

Probably it is a persistent pupillary membrane which usually dissolves to give a round regular pupil which is actually a light controlling unit
