You were clinically examined for the symptoms of chest pain, arm pain, burping and back pain which was alright hence your Doctor would think about anxiety as the cause and it is better to get treated on those lines too. But as a precaution it is better to get few more investigations to rule out the probable causes of such symptoms like Acidity, neck pain and so on. X-ray of the cervical spine and chest. EKG and cardiac evaluation. Tests of blood and urine. Get started on symptomatic treatment with a PPI like Omeprazole, Domperidone for burping, painkillers for pain. If anything is found on investigations, you Doctor will treat you accordingly. If all the investigations are within normal limits, please get treated as a case of stress and anxiety by medications and avoiding all the factors that instigate or enhance your symptoms.
