How To Control The Thyroid Level?

I have Hypothyroidism from 3 years and am maintaining within a normal range by taking Thyroxine sodium(Thyronorm 50mcg) tablets daily.But since last 6 months after i came to USA my thyroid levels(TSH) went high to 5.3.The doctor put me on 50 n then increased to 75mcg.After 2 months my TSH was 0.05 and now i am taking 62.5 mcg but still my periods are very irregular ( 40 days).what to do ??
