How To Calm My Child During Bedtime?

Hi, may I answer your health queries right now ? Please type your query here... Hello, my 13 month old has been experiencing night terrors for the past two months every night waking multiple times during the course of the night. In addition, she sweats excessively regardless of how lightly dressed. What can I do to make her bedtime a more pleasant experience for us all?

Dear Sir/ Madam,

Thank you for posting your query at healthcaremagic.com

For such a young kid of age 13 month who barely understand the surrounding to get such night terrors, it is rare.
However, a good environment around him, which include, gentle talking, away from loud music and noise. Also the touch should be very gentle while handling the child.
Try to read bedtime sweet and short stories to baby.

Hope with this he gets better and get good sleep. If still the problem persist, I advice you to take him to pediatrician.

With best wishes,
Dr. Vishwanath Patil
