How Safe Is Caesarian Section In The 8th Month Of Pregnancy?

hello doctor. my daughter in law is pregnant by placenta previa. she's now on her 8th month. her full term is on nov 25. she was admitted 11/2 weeks ago because of bleeding. she was ordered bed rest since she was on her 5th month of pregnancy. she is scheduled to give birth by CS section on the 1st week of november. Now, she's having contractions. how safe is it for her and for the fetus if she will be cut open today?

Hello mam, thanks for trusting health care magic.
Placenta previa with labor pains or bleeding from vagina are urgent indication of cesarean section.
Baby is still premature so will take neonatal intensive care after birth.
Try to go to a tertiary care institute so that availability of blood, gynecologist and neonatology team is ensured.
Take care. In case you have other questions you can contact me directly on http://bit.ly/drmanishajain
