How Much Time Does An Ovarian Cyst Take To Develop ?
Can an ovarian cyst form on or in the ovary in a short amount of time or overnight? I had a pelvic utrasound done in Oct which indicated my ovaries were fine. Three months later a CT Scan picked up a Quarter size cyst in my right ovary.

Hello.Welcome to HCM forum.Most of the ovarian cysts are harmless or benign and are seen in all ages but most common in women of reproductive age.Most of the cysts are simple cysts and they occur during ovulation.Sometimes egg is not released and fluid is filled making it as the cyst.Three months time is enough for the cyst or cysts to form.Thanks and good luck.
