How Long Will The Ruptured Follicle Take To Fertilize?

Yes Hi. My cycle is 4 days late and i have only had brownish discharge for the past 2 days with todat being 3 days. I took a Hpt, but it came out negative. I ovulated on or around June 14 or 15. I charted my ovulation with these ovulation home kits. I did use clomid and was told that I had 5 follicles which released eggs. Am I testing to soon? Should I give it a little longer before i retest? Thank you

Hello,
Thanks for letting us know your health concern. Home pregnancy tests read well when performed with a fresh early morning sample of urine 3-7 days after the missed period. You can repeat the test after a couple of days and see. Brownish discharge is suggestive of old collected blood. Implantation bleeding, on the other hand, is a fresh bleeding. You can get clarification through a sonogram of the pelvis preferably in the trans-vaginal route done a few days later. Hope this helps.
