How Long Will The Bleeding Continue After Taking Misoprostol?
hello doc,my freind took mtp,on day 2 after taking misoprostol bleeding started and next day mrng products are expelled.then bleeding decreased till night. but again it started bleding heavily since then.its been 4dys since she has aborted,but still her bleeding is heavy.is that ok ???

1.If its only 4 days then its fine - its seen unto 1 week in some cases.
2.But it should gradually reduced as the time passes.
3. Continuous bleed / spotting with pains are seen in case of RPOC - retained products of conception ( incomplete abortion).
4.Its good to have an ultrasound pelvis to rule out RPOC. ( a check ultrasound scan)
