How Long Will It Take For The Cold Sores, Swollen Lips To Go Down After Taking Acyclovir?

yes I have really bad cold sores or fever blister that it has my lips swollen to where I cant eat or drink. I just started taking Acyclovir 800mg today and I was wondering how long do I have to wait for the swelling to go down and the cold sores as well thanks.
