How Long It Will Take To Recover From TB ?

Hi Doctor , My mother is suffering from TB for almost an year now. THe most recent X-ray said, Fibroodular koch s infilterates seen in upper zone and both mid zones. Suspicious area of caviation is seen in right periphilar region. Please suggest. how long would it take for her to get healthy again

Read your prob, in case of pulmonary TB , course of treatment is for 9 month.if patient take drugs regularly for 9 month then it is cured. in pulmonary TB medicine does not take more then 9 month. so if your mom has taken drugs regularly for 9 month ,get CBC,ESR, . if onces TB lesion appeare in lungs then they persist for life long, it does not means that TB is not cured.
