How Long Does Zithromax Take To Treat Clogged Ear?
I went to the DR about 12 days ago with a severe sinus infection (She believed). My symptoms were severe nasal congestion, coughing, sore throat, clogged ears, headaches. I was prescribed a Zithromax for 5 days. All of my other symptoms have been relieved with the exception of my ear. My ear still feels clogged and I now have a fever of about 101.5 consistently for the past two days, since she prescribed me with Amoxicillin. I called and told her this and she put me on Augmentin. Is this normal to have a fever and ear fullness even after taking Zithromax and it has been 13 days?

Yes, it is normal for the ear infection to take so long. It may take about 3 weeks for resolution if you are under proper antibiotic cover as well as other supportive medicines like decongestant nasal drops and oral decongestant preparations along with anti-inflammatory medicines.
Also avoid exposure to scented things , fumes and pollution.
You may be normal within one to two weeks.
You may please go ahead for further investigations as you have Sinusitis and sore throat. Nasal congestion has to be avoided at any cost.
As you have already take Zithromax, Augmentin is a second better choice and should work well for you.
