How Long Does It Take For A Contraceptive Pill To Take Effect?
I took my birth control pill last night at around 7, and then I got sick later in the night, at around 11:30pm. If i have sex today, will that be okay? Like will the pill I took last night still be effective even if I threw up? I don t know how long it would take to get into my system.

If you have vomited out the birth control pill, then there will be no contraceptive effect on the body by that pill.
You should take emergency contraception within72 hours of unprotected intercourse to prevent any pregnancy.
