How Long After Delayed Periods Is Blood Test For Pregnancy Accurate?
I stopped taking my birth control pills in late December and I started my period on Dec 28th, 2011. I have been having unprotected sex with my boyfriend since then. I have extremely sore breast and very sensitive nipples. Also I have had a sticky milky white discharge from my breasts on both sides. I am very tired and have a bad taste in my mouth. I took a test this morning and it came back negative. My period isn’t for 6 days. I was also taking a z-pack during this time. When would be a good time to see my doctor for a blood test??

It is important to rule out pregnancy.
Your symptoms may be due to pregnancy.
Negative urine pregnancy test in early pregnancy may be due to less or inadequate amount of HCG hormone in urine.
You need repeat urinary pregnancy test after 10 days.
However,ultrasound of pelvis is the investigation of choice for confirmation of pregnancy.It can detect G-sac earliest.
