How Long A Person Can Live With Autosomal Recessive Isolated Ectopia Lentis ?
Hi. I am doing a report for life science on autosomal recessive isolated ectopia lentis. Our assignment sheet has some questions on it that I can't find answers to anywhere. How long can a person be expected to live with this disorder? Also, what are statistics related to this disorder (How many people are affected by this disorder in the general population? What percentage of the population is thought to have this condition?) Are certain populations more affected by this disorder than other populations? I would really appreciate any answers that you know and websites and links would be helpful too. Thanks!
I reviewed your history. It seems from the history that you want to know about autosomal recessive ectopia lentis. Simple ectopia lent is is a benign condition and it is not associated with increased mortality. However ectopia lent is associated with Marfan' s syndrome or Homocystinuria or other collagen vascular diseases is associated with increased mortality.
Thank you
