How Does A Lump Form ?

Can a breast lump be the result of a pulled or torn muscle? I work out with exercise machines almost every day. I worked out a little more rigorously than usual a few days ago. The last couple of days I ve felt a tenderness in my left breast and last night i found a pea-sized lump about 4 inches above the nipple. Could this be caused by a pulled muscle or torn muscle tissue? I am a 47 year old female that has never had any major medical issues in the past.

It is unlikely that it resulted after working unless there was direct trauma to the breast sometime ago. Examine your other breast as well. It is best that you visit your Doctor to confirm what it is. Don't take any chances with health.
