How Do I Treat A Cut Inside Of My Vagina?

As I was trimming myself below, I cut the inner lip of my vagina. At first there was no pain and some blood. Today there s some pain, discomfort and it looks like a puss bubble might be forming. I think I might ve cut a small piece of it off. Should I go see a doctor? Is it infected? How long does the healing process take and what should I use to treat it if I don t have to see a doctor?

OBGYN 's  Response
Hi there, I will suggest you the best possible treatment options.
Please do not panic.

I will suggest you to visit your treating doctor, to assess the actual cut and judge the severity of the injury and infection if any.

Please seek prescription support from your treating doctor for a broad spectrum antibiotic like Amoxycillin and clavulinic acid containing tablets 2 times a day for 5 days, pain killer like Paracetamol and local antibacterial ointment.

I hope this helps you.
Thanks
