hi this is dr.ankit here,i am a radiology resident. My father has got corneal ulcer in the right eye since past 22 days,he has visited few ophthalmologist..who initially diagnosed as viral keratitis and started on acyclovir and floxacine eye drop..later after 2 weeks when he dint show any sign of improvement another ophthalmologist was consulted and he was of opinion that it could be fungal infection and he was started on local fluconazole eye drops..its been 1 week since starting anti-fungal drops..stil there has been a progressive detoriation in his condition... with loss of vision as well ...kindly suggest what could be the problem? and what shall we do next?
