How Can Tonsils And Tongue Pain With Swelling Be Treated?

hi, im around 7-8 weeks pregnant and suddenly one of my tonsils is really swollen and painful. the pain is even in my tongue on that same side. i dont have a fever. what are the chances that this is just a virus and itll go away on its own and what are the chances that its bacterial and ill have to take an antibiotic

Chances of infection with bacteria is good as there is swelling and pain . Viral infection may also be there. You need to meet your consulting Doctor to get the culture and sensitivity done. During pregnancy medications must be taken under the advice of the consultant gynaecologist only.
