How Can Severe Pain In The Left Eye Be Treated?

Sharp, almost unbearable pain in left eye and left eye socket. Also Sores starting to appear on skin around left eye and left side of forehead. Eye is oozing fluid and sores are oozing fluid as well. Pain releivers do not work. Can not sleep due to extreme pain.

There are various reasons for severe pain in the eye. if there is discharge, you could be having infection and antibiotics eye drops like gatifloxacin or moxifloxacin 4 times a day along with a lubricating eye drops could help reliving your symptoms. If there is no discharge, and the white of your eye is red it could be because of inflammation and steroid eye drops will alleviating your pain. But there are many other causes of eye pain associated pain around the eyes, so it is better if an ophthmologist personally examines you for your symptoms.
