General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi i do care for your concern.
your history suggest more of middle ear infection.
The infection might cause compression of nerve and you may feel numbness of side of mouth.
I would advise
To consult your ear specialist and get ear examined completely
He may recommend audiogram which will help to identify the site of infection.
In most of the conditions medical intervention will alone suffice to clear up the infection.
Hope your condition resolves soon.
Hope i have answered your question, if you have more feel free to ask.
Thank you.
I find this answer helpful
