Hello and Welcome to ‘Ask A Doctor’ service. I have reviewed your query and here is my advice.

Its nice to know you want to quit on addictions. You should get self disciplined & have a strong determination to do so. If you find reasons to get some excuse then you are simply immature, get responsible for yourself & your body. Meth is a CNS stimulant hence withdrawing is not as easy as it sounds. You need to be really dedicated to your resolution of quitting addiction. Once to stop taking meth there will occur a dopamine drop in your brain that may cause you to get into depression even suicidal thoughts are common. These withdrawal symptoms will want to take you over but endure. Slowly the withdrawal symptoms will decrease & you will be perfectly normal. While you withdraw from meth stay connected with a doctor so that you are safe & be prescribed certain medications that will help you endure. Since now you know about the withdrawal symptoms, I suggest you to plan your diet, day & routine so that you are active, busy, enjoying outdoors, listening to music or exercising so that you do not give any chance for depression to sneak in. All the beat & take care.

Hope I have answered your query. Let me know if I can assist you further.
Regards,
Dr. Nupur K.
