Can Any Medical Condition Lead To Drug Addition And Depression?

I know that sexual assault can lead to a drug addiction but I was wondering if you could help me as I am a college student and I was wondering if there was any medical condition that can lead to drug addiction. Sexual assault can cause depression I know that I was just wondering if there was anything else

Anxiety disorder and depression per se can lead to drug dependence. Even anxious personality and anti social personality disorder can lead to dependence. Insomnia can cause drug dependence. In fact the converse is more tru that sexual assaults are more common among the people having drug dependence.

Any medical condition in which patient has body ache and patient is on painkiller could lead to addiction of drug like opioid. In number of case of premature ejaculation, to get desire sexual pleasure, patient start taking morphine and become addict to it. To pain or any medical condition patient is not getting sleep, he/she can become addict to sleeping pills,
