What Causes The Recurrence Of Excessive Gas And Sleeplessness After Treating An Amoebic Liver Abscess A Few Years Back?

II was operated for duodenal ulcer in the year 1992. Recently I was treated by a gastroenterologist for amoebic liver abscess in July 2015. Same symptoms of gas and sleeplessness. Lot of gas. I am neither a smoker nor alcoholic. I do not eat spicy or nonveg. Please cure my gaseous problem. Satyanarayana email. YYYY@YYYY .

In such a case I may suggest-
- Get following evaluation done
Thyroid Function
Complete Blood Count
Liver Function Test
Kidney Function Test.
Blood sugar level
Urine examination.
- Detailed physical examination.
- Drugs like Omeprazole with Domperidone and/or Itopride may help.
