How Can Implanon Be Removed Safely Without Any Medical Assistance?

Hi i m Pears and i m 20 years old. I inserted an implanon on the 11th of December 2014 and I am supposed to take it out on the 11th of December 2017. my problem is that I can t find the card they gave me on the day I inserted it saying to me that I must take it to the clinic when I want to remove it. what am I going to do? how am I going to remove it without that card?

Hello,

I suggest you visit the same clinic and doctor who has implanted the implanon.

There is no hard and fast rule to remove it, if you have misplaced the card and you remember the date of implantation then you can simply tell them, that's fine as the decision will be only yours to remove the implanon.
