Herpes In The Vaginal Area. On Ocuvir. How Long Should The Medicine Be Taken?
Hello! Sir! My wife is Suffering with Harpies near vaginal area on thigh. Its her 10th day today & is undergoing the treatment. She recovered the earlier infection but in last 2 days, the infection has passed to another near by place. She has been prescibed ocuvir 1200sr. How longwhose it takes toscare & what is the right medication? Can u pl provide your valuable advise.

Hi,
Herpes Zoster is a viral disease and takes time according to severity.
Usually it takes 2-3 weeks to heal completely.
Take anti-inflammatory medicine and antibiotic as there is a chance of having super added bacterial infection.
There is no need of antiviral,ocuvir if course is completed.
You can apply triple cream locally if needed.
