Heavy Brown Spotting Like Periods. History Of Light Brown Discharge During Sex. Due For Periods In 10 Days. Any Ideas?

I had my period 2 weeks ago and my husband and I had sex as we were having sex we noticed I had discharge with a light brown tinge to it. I didnt really worry because we thought maybe it was just left over from the period I just had but it's been 3 days and I have been spotting brown and today it got heavier and now it's like a period. I'm worried because this has never happened to me before. What is this? And I can't be pregnant becuase my husband had had a visectomy.

Hi,
In the current scenario, I would ask you to see a gynecologist and get a local exam, a pap smear and a trans-vaginal sonogram to exclude local causes for the spotting and bleeding. Else, you would need to rule out hormonal imbalances. Cervicitis, vaginitis, cervical erosions and polyps may cause this picture and do not worry, every single thing is curable. Wish you good health.
