Having Sore And Swollen Vagina With Red Spots. Is It Tearing And Irritation Due To Sex?
My boyfriend and I had a couple nights of rough, poorly lubricated sex. The next day I woke up with a very sore vagina and upon closer examination found three small red spots on my labia minora that are sore to the touch. The surrounding vaginal area is sore and swollen. Could this just be tearing and irritation from sex?

Yes .Unlubricated rough sex can cause contusions of sensitive vulvar skin.If the inflammation does not subside infection (Vulvovaginitis)has to be excluded.Wash the area with mild antiseptic soap, and keep dry.A topical antiseptic skin cream may be applied to prevent infection.Does your partner also have red painful spots on his penis?
