For severe migraine episodes, you can use
rizatriptan or
sumatriptan tablets. If they do not help, you can go to the ER and receive Injection tramadol or
dexamethasone.
In addition, since you have severe and repeated episodes of headaches, you should be on preventive medications to reduce the severity and frequency of headaches. These medications include beta blockers,
topiramate,
divalproex, etc.
If your headaches still do not improve, then, you should get an MRI with venogram done to exclude clotting of blood in brain veins, which may occur in some people after delivery.
