Having Generalized Anxiety & Heart Palpitations
I have generalized anxiety I went to the doctor last week because I started having heart palpitations. I was given and EKG and blood tests were done checking my cardiac enzymes everything was normal. I was given Ativan for the anxiety, I still have the palpitations every day. How long will it take to go away?

When the Anxiety subsides, palpitations too subside
If not, you may need further investigations - like Holter, ECHO, thyroid function and so on
Drugs like beta blockers may benefit both anxiety and the rate
