Having Burning Lips. What Could Be The Remedy?

i began having burning lips after a very stressful time leading up to surgery. i have had a couple of small sores that do not break the skin appear on upper lip, just under the pointy part of upper lip. some burning also on lower lip. i have just had a lip biopsy but i have been to my dr, an ent dr, and a surgeon, none of who have an answer. this has been ongoing for 5 months. just recently, i noticed my nose can feel cool, and my nostrils and lips are sensative to hot or cold. example, going out in the cold, or opening the oven door. i feel tingling when i do those things. i am very frustrated as this has been on going for so long. can you offer any ideas. my surgeon told me to get a shingles vaccine, what has that got to do with my burning lips. i also have a small hiatus hernia.

Hi,
You seem to have herpes simplex..caused by HSV virus mostly type 1. There may be cluster of minute vesicles with burning. And it may be preciptated by stress, travelling, sleeplessness, any disese in the body. Acyclovir tablets in proper dose for long time may be taken. Immunobooster like levamisole may be taken. Acyclovir cream may be applied. You may got good result after few months.
Thanks.
