Have Tingling Sensation And Pain Around Knee With Swelling And Bruise. Should I Worry About DVT?

I got hit in the thigh really hard 4 days ago that caused swelling and a very large bruise. I am now experiencing a warm tingling and some pain in my knee just below it. Should I worry about a DVT. I don t have any swelling or redness in the rest of my leg and the pain in my knee feels superficial not deep. Could it just be a sensation caused by the pooled blood?

Hello.
Thanks for writing to us.
The symptoms that you have could be due to haemarthrosis or arthritis of the knee joint since there is no history of injury to the area. A DVT is less likely but it needs a medical attention.
I hope this information has been both informative and helpful for you.
