Have Prolonged Fever, Red Eyes. Taken Antibiotics. Any Suggestions?

hi Doctor, My husband (36 years) is having persistant temperature from 6 weeks. All the symptoms started like flu and red eyes. we have seen opthomology and Dr. said has infamation in his eyes. He was on antibiotics for almost weeks, but doctor wants to stop to find real root cause. Up to now he lost 8 lbs of his original weight. All tests have been done. In those CSR (sedementation rate), CRP(c-reactive protein),CMV antibody IGG IGM came positive. Up to now not able to find out root cause. Any suggestions please, if any more tests need to be done.

Hi.Greetings.
The Condition Seems to be some chronic Systemic illness/disease.
Tuberculosis is needed to be ruled out first, rare possibility of malignancy or connective tissue disorder or brucellosis.
Go for compelete Body profile(CBC,Chest XRay,URINE TEST, SONOGRAPHY, THYROID TEST ,ETC...)
Keep strict temperature chart to know pattern of fever.
Consult good Physician.
