What Causes Prolonged Fever?
I am suffering from fever in last 15 days .my fevers comes from 3 pm to 11 pm then reduce automatically. fever rises to 101.i am on antibiotics magnexfort 3g intervenous daily.my fever ia now below 100. Done lot many test all shows negetive. 2 times dengue Weil Felix blood culture urine culture chest xray and abdomen ultrasound but nothing detected.finally one test typhi dot M says reactive. So doctor assuming it could be typhoid fever but not much sure as widel test came negative. Please suggest.

follow advises
Avoid exertion
Take tablet paracetamol 500 mg, one tablet after food as and when required for fever more than 99 f (maximum 3 tablets with gap of 8 hr can be taken in a day) for 3 days
Take proper diet homemade food like moong dal dalia, chapati etc
Take Tablet Taxim o 200 mg(Provided No history of drug allergy) one tablet twice a day for 7 days
Consult Physician for futher management
