My younger brother (48) was just diagnosed w/ AIDs . He was admitted to the hosp last Sat - ICU - w/pneumonia/emphasyma. He has now been told he has AIDS. He cannot breath on his own - his sat levels drop below 80 when he is taken off oxygen . He is on a mask. they are hoping to move him to a step down unit tomorrow. Anyway, he is weak and very sick. What do you think his prognosis is?
