Have Pinched Nerve In Neck And Osteoarthritis. Done MRI. What Do I Do?
I have been diagnosed with a pinched nerve in my neck and I also have sever Osteoarthritis. I went for therapy and that helped some then I was sent to an Orthopediic doctor who was suppossed to be so good. He had me go for an MRI and when I returned to get the results - he did not even discuss the MRI with me and told me to continue pain management with my reular Doctor and go for therapy. I asked what kin and he was evasive. I told him I had been didmissed from therapy because they were through with what I needed. He ordered the same thersapy and told me I did not need to come back. My insurance will not cover the therapy because he ordered what I had just finished. What do I do now?????
This kind of pain is due compression of nerve due to spinal disc bulge. Nerve compression leads to radiating pain to arm, which gets aggravated in a particular position.
You need methylcobalamine, muscle relaxant with analgesic by consulting doctor. Here are my suggestions to you: Avoid lifting weights
Continue neck exercises Physiotherapy – SWD (Short Wave Diathermy), IFT (Interference Therapy). will help you
Take care,
