After eating food i fell palpitations.when i lie down it increases.I have this problem for 2 years. I have done ECG,ECHO,treadmill test and all tests are normal. My blood pressure and thyroid are also normal.I am felling palpitation whole night and it is disterbing my sleep.I dont have constipation and gas releated problems. please help
Dear Sir Welcome to HC magic. Palpitation due to premature contractions is common and benign, when associated with a normal ECHO study. I hope your doctors tried to identify the rhythm disorder associated with your palpitations. If they are indeed premature contractions, a single drug (beta-blockers/ CCBs) will suffice to control them. Also look at your alcohol/ tea/ coffee/ anti asthma medication intake. Try to remain stress free and calm. If any particular substance in meals increases palpitations, please avoid it. sincerely
