What Does This ECG Test Result For Heart Palpitations Indicate?

Hi I just had my second ecg and it showed a ST&T wave abnormality/consider ischemia. Also for the last couple weeks I have had heart palpitations. When I recived my first ECG a year or more ago it showed the same results but during that time I was not having any palpitations. Should I be concerned about the palpitations or are they probably unrelated? Also during this time ive had palpitations and weeks before I have been problems with my SNRI medication Effexor and am now in the process of tapering down and switching to Zoloft. I have switched these types of medications several times before and not had any problems with palpitations

Hello,

The transient period of palpitation can be considered normal physiologic changes during the drug switch over or tapering down approach. If it is on persistent basis or symptomatic, one has to be concerned with underlying conduction defect as SA node, AV node, bundle of his or Purkinjee fibers.
