Have Missed Periods, Vomiting, Lower Abdominal Pain. Taking Prenatals. Will That Delay My Periods?

halo.i m 24 yrs old and ttc ..my last period was on oct1st.till now i havent got my periods and i usually have a 28 day cycle.i vomited 1 week ago and once few days back.whatever i eat it comes up and i could feel something inside my stomach.lower right abdomen pains at times(sharp pains ).took a hpt strday using clear blue digital,but showed negative.what do u think my case is and wen can i test next and which brand to use ?also i strated taking prenatals last month.will that delay my periods ?pls help

Thanks for the query.
Delay in periods can occur due to many causes, like:
- Hormonal imbalance due to causes like poly cystic ovary disease, stress and strain, weight changes etc.
- General conditions like thyroid hormonal abnormalities, anemia etc.
- Pregnancy.
Urine pregnancy test kit may not detect early pregnancy sometimes.
But as you tested one week after the missed period, the result may be accurate.
To get confirmative result, go for blood test for pregnancy.
This will give accurate result compared with urine test.

Usually prenatals won't affect the menstrual cycle.
So, after blood test consult gynecologist once and take tablets to induce withdrawal bleeding.
