Have Missed Periods, Lower Back Pain, Frequent Urination, Nausea, Changes In Bowel Movement, Pressure On Pelvis. Pregnant?

I have lower back pain sometimes. My period is late, but during the time it was supposed to come, I had constant nausea, bowel movement changes, frequent urination, trouble fully emptying my bladder, and a lot of gas. It seems as thought the symptoms are worst at night when I'm doing less movement. I took multiple pregnancy tests, all at different times and they were negative. Its almost 15 days after the day my period was supposed to start and I still get the symptoms, but they are off and on. I feel pressure and discomfort on my pelvis constantly.

Hello
Thanks for writing to us with your health concern.
As the pregnancy tests are all negative, you are not pregnant
You symptoms seem to be in sync with endometriosis.
Also, they could be indicative of premenstrual symptoms.
Once in a while you could be having a delayed / skipped period.
There are other reasons that could exist for this, if pregnancy is reasonably excluded.
The causes include - stress, anxiety, weight gain, hypothyroidism, polycystic ovaries, endometrial hyperplasia etc.
I would ask you to have a gynaecological consultation, a thorough internal check up ( per vaginum and per speculum ) and a pelvic transvaginal ultrasound in addition to hormonal assays - FSH, LH, TSH, prolactin.
All the best.
