Have Jolting Pain In My Wrist. Wrist Feels Weak. It Comes And Goes. Cure For Symptoms?

I have jolting pain in my wrist. It isn't all the time, it comes and goes and is just as quick as a quick jolt and the pain is gone for anywhere from 1 minute to a few hours until the next jolt comes. It isn't brought on by anything. My arm could be simply hanging at my side, I could be laying down, or I could be using it. When the jolt comes my wrist gets really weak for that small instant, but just as soon as the jolt comes and goes, so does my strength. What could this be??

Orthopaedic Surgeon 's  Response
Hello,

Thanks for writing to us,

I have studied your case with diligence.

According to your symptoms it looks like there can be compression of nerve leading to sudden pain and dissaper on releasing of pressure.
Other reason could be local growth ,for which you may need investigation like x ray and MRI.
Medications like neurotropics need to be started.

I hope that I have answered your query. Let me know if I can help you further.

Take care
