Have Irregular Period, Began Spotting. Negative Pregnancy Tests. What Could Be The Reason?

I have irregular periods. i normally can go 2 months without one and I will start in the third month. My last period was April 13th. i wasn't not worried and i was expecting to start my period this month. However, i began spotting. i thought that maybe my period was on its way. This spotting has been going on for about 2 weeks. Some days it kind of has a flow like a regular period on its first day. Other days I only see blood when I wipe myself. I took 2 pregnancy tests earlier this month and both were negative. I am sexually active. The last time I had sex was june 23. This spotting began around the second week of July.

Hi,
Thanks for writing to us.
You should consult a gynaecologist for urine, blood test and ultrasonography to rule out pregnancy because with unprotected sex chances of pregnancy have always been there.
You should go for regular method of contraception in the future.
Good luck.
Take care.
