Have Hypertension. Had Tachycardia. Getting Chest Pain During Sleep. What Should Be Done?

Hi I have a question? I am a 31 year old, I have hypertension I have been taken off my medication almost 2 years ago because the GP thought I no longer needed them. I ve also had bouts of tachycardia in the past. I fainted at Uni last year before an exam, I was sent to emergency dept, I was told it was due to severe dehydration. Recently I woke up with a fright after a bad dream of falling I woke up to gasping for breath with chest pain during sleep, eventually I went back to sleep. I am too scared to tell my parents, I do have a mild intellectual impairment which I was born with. On the same night I had hiccups and some of yesterday should I get a opinion could you give me advice on what I should do? I m pretty shy about telling parents about the pain but I did mention I was gasping for breath but they did not take notice

Hello,
It is very strange that your GP stopped your anti hypertensive medicines two years back and there has been no recording of your blood pressure since then to know the status of your blood pressure.
It looks that you are having uncontrolled hypertension and this could lead to various problems like heart attacks, strokes and vision abnormalities.
You must tell your parents about your actual situation and must go to some cardiologist for proper evaluation of your cardiac status.
Once investigated, you can have proper and appropriate treatment.
Thanks
