Have Diarrhea, Sore Throat, Cough, Dryness In Throat. Taken NorfloxTZ. Is That Sufficient?
Hi. I took NorfloxTZ 400 mg for last 2 days twice as I had loose motion once - for two consecutive days. I had taken this course 5 days almost 20 days backas well. I was having mild sore throat and cough for which I was prescribed ofloxocin just when I had to take NorfloxTZ for stomach and I did not have ofloxacin and respiratory syrup. Now on3rd day of norfloxtz -only having dry throat feels like lot of tiny pimples like thins continue on above part of my mouth and neck. Pla advice if I continue NorfloxTZ or change medicine or just leave all.. Btw had lot of confusion, dry mouth and could not sleep last nite

Hello,
Your symptoms suggest that you are having viral diarrhoea and therefore you don't need to take NORFLOX TZ.
Just take plenty of oral fluids and may do some warm saline gargles.
Viral infections generally become all right in 3 days but may take 5 to 7 days in some cases,however there is no need to take any antibiotic in any viral infection.
May take some anti spasmodic for pain in abdomen,if any.
Take paracetamol if there is fever.
